There were 666 students enrolled in Pocahontas Area Comm School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 4.3% less than the previous year, according to the Iowa Department of Education.

Of all students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 52.1% were girls, and 47.9% were boys.
