Join us for a day of manufacturing exploration. there will be presentation(s) from manufacturing leaders, trivia, and opportunities to check out manufacturing business booths.
Manufacturing workers work with products and equipment. You might design a new product, decide how the product will be made, or make the product. You might work on cars, computers, appliances, airplanes, or electronic devices. Other manufacturing workers install or repair products.
BUSINESSES:
Take this time to celebrate National Manufacturing Month with over 300 high school students. The first 30 minutes will be spent on a pep talk about “Why Choose Manufacturing as a Career” and Trivia (submit your trivia questions) – then the students will have the opportunity to go table to table to talk to You – the manufacturer!
Bring your best representative, pictures of what it is really like to work in your plant, or samples of what you make. The more hands-on and visual the better.
Table and chairs will be provided.
