For more than 50 years, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has celebrated National Small Business Week (NSBW) at the beginning of May to recognize the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. In the Fort Dodge, Iowa, region, local “mom and pop” shops, start-ups, and small businesses are recognized as the pillars of our community and the engine of our economy.
