For over 30 years, Iowa Central Community College has people together for the Focus International Festival of Nations.
This year, the event will take place Sunday, April 10 featuring the Middle East.
Join in honor of Dr. Mary Sula Linney at the Bio-Health Sciences Building from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on the Fort Dodge campus for entertainment, food and fun.
Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
The Dr. Mary Sula Linney Focus International Series was created by Dr. Linney, a long-time employee of Iowa Central who was a Spanish instructor, department chair and associate vice president for the college until 2005.
The festival celebrates cultures around the world and features dance and musical performances, presentations, display tables and tasting tables.
Iowa Central’s International Focus invites students and members of the community to have tables featuring other countries and cultures.
