City of Gilmore City recently issued the following announcement.
No person shall park, abandon or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street, alley, or City -owned off-street parking area during the hours of 3 am to 7 am from November to April 1. Ordi- nance 135.12 & 136.03 A snow emergency parking ban may be proclaimed by the Mayor in the instance of a snow or ice storm through the duration of the storm and for the 48 hour period following such storm. During a snow emergency no person shall park, abandon, or leave unat- tended any vehicle on any public street, alley, or City-owned off- street parking area unless the snow has been removed or plowed from said street, alley, or parking area and the snow has ceased to fall. Also, it is unlawful for any person to throw, push, or place or cause to be thrown, pushed or placed, any ice or snow from private property, sidewalks, or driveways onto the street or alley so as to obstruct gutters, or upon the street or alley creating a hazardous condition therein.
