City of Fort Dodge recently issued the following announcement.
A parking prohibition will automatically go into effect on all Commercial Emergency Snow Routes from 8:00 pm tonight, Monday, January 17, 2022, to 8:00 am tomorrow morning, Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Public Works crews will be finishing the removal of snow from the downtown area. Any vehicles that remain parked along the commercial routes after 8:00 pm tonight will be towed, so please be sure to move them into City lots (away from snow piles). The overnight parking pass requirement for City lots will be waived to help expedite the removal of snow from the roadways during the hours outlined above.
