Iowa Central Community College issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
The 16th-ranked Iowa Central women surpassed the century mark and improved to 4-0 on the year with a convincing 102-54 victory over the William Penn JV Friday night inside Hodges Fieldhouse.
Autumn Dykstra and Jayden Frank each scored 17 points, Nevaeh Moescther and Taylor McKinney had 16 each, and Carley West added 11 for the Tritons (4-0 overall).
Leading 24-11 after the first, Iowa Central outscored William Penn 37-17 in the second quarter.
Frank also had five rebounds and three assists, Ashley Fountain recorded seven assists, five steals and four rebounds, and Kayle Griffith added eight boards. Ajla Dzelic scored nine points and Chloe Lewandowski chipped in four rebounds and four assists.
The Tritons had 28 assists on 40 field goals, shooting 50 percent from the field. They also made 15 three-pointers and had 12 steals.
Iowa Central returns to the court Wednesday when they host Minnesota West at 5 p.m.
