City of Fort Dodge recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Fort Dodge is actively hiring a Maintenance Worker in our Utility Systems division of Public Works. This individual will provide technical and inspection maintenance services to sustain a continuing program of water supply and distribution to the City, as well as maintain the storm water and sanitary sewer systems. Depending on qualifications, the selected candidate will start as either a Maintenance Worker II ($20.69/hour) or a Maintenance Worker III ($22.80/hour). Overtime opportunities are available.
Interviews will begin prior to position closing and will continue until filled. A pre-employment post-offer background check, Physical Capacity Evaluation, physical and drug screen is required of all new hires. Minorities, women and veterans are encouraged to apply. AA/EOE
