City of Gowrie issued the following announcement.

DOWNTOWN MARKET

We're Back in 2021!

Make plans to join us on Thursday, September 9th from 4 - 7 pm!

JOIN US:

Make plans to come to Gowrie and experience downtown! Streets will be blocked off to allow ease of access to all the vendors. Parking will be available on side streets and alleys. Bring a chair and stay a while!

WANT TO BE A VENDOR?

We are actively looking for additional vendors to set up on Market Street such as vegetables, produce, baked goods and handcrafted items. There is no fee but advance registration is required for organizing spaces. Vendors are responsible for their own space (tables, tents, ect.)

The market brings together area vendors from all over the county plus food, music, wine and local shopping. Highlights from the training exercise showing our local police, volunteer ambulance and fire personnel.

Extrication Exercise - approximately 6:30 pm on Beek Street

-Gowrie Police Department, Gowrie Volunteer Fire Department and Southwest Webster Ambulance will be teaming up for a training exercise!! Watch the jaws of life and more as they simulate on scene at an accident.
