POLICE CHIEF
The City of Humboldt, Iowa (4,690) is seeking applicants for the position of Police Chief. The City of Humboldt has been regionally known, and ranked near the top in Iowa as one of the safest communities. The police chief will be part of a veteran leadership team and report to the city administrator to implement goals and priorities established by the city council. Candidates must have a minimum associates degree in Law Enforcement or related college degree and five years increasingly responsible managerial experience in municipal law enforcement work. An equivalent combination of experience may be substituted for education. Position is full-time with excellent benefits.
