City of Hampton recently issued the following announcement.
City Council Workshop 6 PM

The Hampton City Council holds workshops on the Mondays preceding their 2nd and 4th Thursday Regular Sessions at 6:00 PM, in the City Council Chambers. Dates may change, based on holiday or scheduling conflicts. Workshops are held in preparation of addressing matters for future Regular Sessions, where formal action may be taken on issues to be decided. The Workshop Agenda is available for review on this website and posted at City Hall by the Friday prior.
